KLIMAKRISE
Die Klimakrise ist auch eine Krise der Grund- und Menschenrechte. Wir müssen dafür sorgen, dass unsere Erde auch in Zukunft ein lebenswerter Ort für uns alle ist. Denn das Schmelzen der Gletscher ist nur die Spitze des Eisberges. Die Hauptaufgabe unseres Rechtssystem ist es, das Leben und Zusammenleben von uns allen zu schützen. Es wird Zeit sicherzustellen, dass das Recht diese Funktion auch im Zusammenhang mit der Klimakrise erfüllt.
Mein Ziel als Rechtsanwältin ist es mit Recht für eine bessere Zukunft für uns und unseren wunderbaren Planeten zu kämpfen. Das erfordert Mut, Ausdauer und eine Menge Kreativität. Die Lösung der Klimakrise bedeutet Systemänderung. Das umfasst auch unser Rechtssystem.

CLIMATE CRISIS
The climate crisis also poses an immense threat to human rights. We need to ensure that our planet can sustain and provide a good life for all of us. Legal systems serve to protect these goals. It is therefore our responsibility that they function well, especially in times of crisis.
My goal as an attorney is to fight for a better future, for us and our wonderful planet. I aim to do this by way of legal interventions, lawsuit by lawsuit. This requires courage, perseverance, and an awful lot of creativity. The climate crisis demands system change. It is also time to ensure that our laws provide adequate answers to our challenges of today and tomorrow.
